MultiMax, Venezuela’s largest multi-brand retailer, offers a consumer credit system through two programs: CrediMax and CrediMax Premium. Under the strategic vision of the CEO of CLX Group, Nasar Dagga, these systems were designed to provide consumers with flexibility when purchasing products at the stores.
The financing options available to PriorityMax members include different purchase limits, down payment percentages, and interest-free payment terms, depending on the customer’s assigned category.
These credit programs are available at the multi-brand retailer’s 49 locations nationwide, bringing together more than 400 technology and home goods brands within a single shopping ecosystem.
What is the MultiMax consumer credit system?
In 2024, MultiMax launched CrediMax as an alternative for making purchases on credit, with a down payment and the remainder paid in interest-free installments. Later, in 2026, it introduced CrediMax Premium, a plan that extends the financing term to 24 biweekly installments, equivalent to a period of up to one year to complete payment.
A key difference between the two options lies in how the credit line works. With the traditional CrediMax, the customer must pay off the previous balance before making a new purchase using the financing.
In addition, CrediMax Premium includes a revolving credit line. In other words, as payments are made, the paid-off balance becomes available again for future purchases, up to the assigned credit limit.
What are the categories?
This system operates through categories that determine the available credit limit, the required down payment percentage, and the payment frequency. The available options include:
- Classic Premium: It has a limit of $500, an initial down payment of 40%, and a payment plan of up to 24 interest-free biweekly installments.
- Premium Bronze: This plan has a $600 limit, with a 40% down payment and 24 interest-free installments.
- Silver Premium: Offers a limit of $800, requiring a 30% down payment and a 24-installment payment plan.
- Gold and VIP Premium: With limits of $1,000 and $1,200, respectively, these plans require a 20% down payment and 24 interest-free biweekly installments.
- Platinum Premium: Offers a credit limit of $1,500, with a 20% down payment and up to 24 interest-free biweekly payments.
- Premium Diamond: This is the highest tier in this financing program. It has a purchase limit of $2,000, requires a 10% down payment, and the remaining balance can be paid in up to 24 interest-free biweekly installments.
