Supporting national talent, CLX Group and Nasar Dagga join the monumental dream with their new team CLX Fútbol Club, promoting the stars of the Monumental League in an unprecedented tournament that mixes sports entertainment and spectacle in the country.
Through the innovative “Football 9” format, the Monumental League will be the championship that will set the trend in Venezuela, led by acclaimed soccer legends and former members of La Vinotinto; well-known television personalities and influencers, as well as new athletes over 16 years of age; transforming the Monumental Stadium diamond into a football field for the first time.
Among the most emblematic figures of national and international football present in this unique tournament are the former Caracas FC player, Javier Toyo; Jorge “Zurdo” Rojas, the Brazilian Emerson Ferreira, Wilfredo Alvarado, the top scorer in Venezuelan soccer, Juan García; the Colombian Faustino Asprilla, the forward Mohamed Zidan, Clarence Seedorf and many more.

Continuing with the preparations for the first season of the Monumental League, the technical director of CLX FC, Lenin Bastidas, continues to train the players together with its president, Irrael Gómez, ahead of the team’s debut against Patacones CF this Friday.
In the main squad is the Venezuelan soccer legend David Mcintosh, “The Computer”, who at 51 years old demonstrated his excitement for playing in the forward position during this tournament after 600 games played as a defender in the national league; the Influencer and recipe creator, Yanis Arvanitaris; as well as the only godfather of the competition, the plastic surgeon and showman, Dr. Gabriel Obayi.

CLX FC in the Monumental League
The Monumental League will begin next Thursday, May 23 with the inaugural match of La Cosa Nostra vs Los Extraterrestres at the Monumental Stadium in Caracas Simón Bolívar. The matches will be divided into 7 days of four games each, for a total of 28 matches in the regular round “All against All”, where the best 4 teams will be chosen to advance to the next round. Likewise, the competition will have an All-Star Game.
The debut of the ‘Blue Fury’ will be this Friday, May 24 against Patacones CF, starting at 7:00 p.m., marking the first confrontation of David Mcintosh, Yanis Arvanitaris and Gabriel Obayi against the team of Wilfredo Alvarado, Gianpiero Fusco and Marian Corrales.
